I-821D DACA Renewal Application
Training link is here. (You should be signed in by now or you can do it now) The youtube link to the training video is here.
The DACA application is actually (3) applications put together and a cover sheet. There is a lot of repetitive information, like “Name, Address, A#’s etc…”, so the “Preparer” can scan ahead and start filling in information on each part while the “Interviewer” is talking to the applicant.
- Form G-1145 Email authorization sheet.
- Form I-821D – Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – 7 pages
- Form I-765 – Application for Employment Authorization – 7 pages
- Form I-765 Worksheet – 1 page
- (2) U.S. passport photos (write name and A# on back in pen)
- Check or money order for $495, made payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
When you start with an applicant:
- The Interviewer help the applicant fill out the Citizenship Fair waiver form
- Both the Preparer and the Interviewer can work together to fill out the Citizenship Fair intake form
- The Interviewer needs to talk about confidentiality concerns – see slide below…
When you’ve finished the forms:
- Use this worksheet to be sure you have all the necessary parts and items to be copied, and that they are arranged in the correct order.
- Your applicant may need assistance on correctly filling out their check to the USCIS. You can give them this explainer from the front desk. Filling out a check to USCIS
Confidentiality concerns!
The Interviewer needs to talk about this issue before they start.
- The applicant may want to keep their contact information confidential.
- If this is a concern, and they don’t currently have options, they can check out this: https://es.usps.com/manage/po-boxes.htm
